a small lil changes

this is the little changes that i have made for my lil red dragon... yes a whole set of pimp changing.. from a normal exhaust to a okok performance piping set.. it comes with a 4-2-1 extracter, mid bullet and an exhaust that is kind of loud... it cost me 500bucks after nego.. well at first after the changes i went off with the car.. it sounded like i must say a subaru imprezza exhaust sound.. i was quite embarrassed because there was an imprezza right infront of me that i sound exactly identical too.. but anyways in the end i got used to it... yes yes many have said it is very loud and all.. but well as long as your happy then it's ok am i right? well there are the changes.. i didnt have the old piping pictures.. when i find it i'll put it up..

2 to 1... where is the 4? ask hong jiun he took the pic

the mid bullet
the muffler

i forgot to mention that the piping is from wai heng workshop located at sunway.. at first when i installed it was kind of fuel consuming.. as i expected but after a month of so the milage became back to normal.. 400+ per tank which is 40L for my car.. quite good right? haha.. anyways thats all.. thanks

8 REASONS WHY REAL MEN DRIVE MANUAL

Top 8 reasons why real men drive manual

More and more Singaporeans are now favouring cars with automatic or semi-automatic transmissions.

Even car dealers find it impractical to bring in manual transmission cars (where can we get a six-speed manual Golf GTI without indenting one?).

It's a vicious cycle. But real men still drive manual cars, according to an AskMen.com article.

We list here their some of their top reasons:

8) A manual transmission is the ultimate in control

The manual transmission is for the alpha male, the one holding the TV remote. Men would rather be the boss than the subordinate. A car with a manual transmission lets the driver be the boss of the car, says AskMen.com. Throttle response will always be immediate unlike some modern automatic boxes. We tend to agree.

7) You can use motoring jargon and not sound like a total fool

Having the ability to drive stick can make you sound like an authority on all things motoring when chatting to the fairer sex, even if you don't know what you're blabbering about. Unless your date is a motoring journalist.

6) You can't spell "manual" without "man"

Our favourite reason among AskMen.com's top ten list. Manual transmission is man because you can't say one without saying the other. Try saying "manual" without first saying "man".

Automatic boxes aren't considered cool and they have nicknames to go along with it. "Slushbox", for instance. "Flappy paddle gearboxes" just doesn't cut it as well. To AskMen.com, "nothing flappy will ever be manly."

5) Manual transmissions prove you can multi-task

Society looks up to people who can multi-task complex motor movements. Just look at the guy who got famous by shaking his hands and legs in different directions. He got hired by Visa for their ads.

Shifting a manual car is also quite complex. You have to release the accelerator with the right foot, depress the clutch with the left, use your right hand to select a different gear and then simultaneously release the clutch as you accelerate, hoping to engage clutch and throttle at that optimum rpm.

4) You can't drift in an auto

Hmm. AskMen.com says drifting is the most extreme form of car control. Driving it sideways requires a massive set of, erm, courage, and a car with a manual transmission.

A manual transmission is beneficial for drifting because you can keep the engine in the sweet spot of its powerband. Try it in an auto and watch the fun die as the transmission shifts up early and kills the power.

(right) And him showng TNP reporter Joyce Lim the basics of drifting in his Toyota Chaser

3) No more fancy moves in an automatic

There'll be no more heel-toe technique in an automatic, considered to be the elite driving manoeuvre in the motor racing world, says AskMen.com.

The heel-toe manoeuvre allows one to downshift, rev-match and brake all at once.

The driver will operate the clutch normally with the left foot. The ball of the right foot will be on the brake, slowing the car down, while at the same time the right heel of the foot will "blip" the throttle during gear change. This will match engine speed to the wheel speed. Benefits? It keeps the engine in the desired powerband and reduces drivetrain jolt, greatly reducing wear and tear on the transmission.

2) Manual transmission cars are more fun

Having control over your is advantageous. An engine performs best at a certain rpm range, the "sweet spot" so to speak. At the "sweet spot" the power curve generally gets more aggressive.

With a manual car, says AskMen.com, you can find out exactly where this sweet spot is and keep the car there. But with an automatic, the car will most probably shift up before you hit the spot.

1) You'll never look bad if you can drive manual

A friend lent you his car to drive because he's too drunk to get behind the wheel. And being the nice guy that you are, you'll send the ladies home too. Imagine the embarrassment you feel when you reach the car, only to find that it is a manual. Which you can't drive because you're lazy enough to take your driving test in an automatic car. Real men have never experienced such embarrassment.

the advantages of using shell v power

yes V-Power use to be available at any petrol stations a few months back but now only a few has it... why do we have to pump this expensive fuel rather than taking the more cheaper alternative that we have now which is the RON95 unleaded... well tell you what... the good news is when i tested both of this fuel the V-Power gave me better milage and better performance.. very much more it can clean your engine from the above video you can refer to.. pump V-Power once a while...it maybe expensive but it is worth to feed your car something much better once in a while for it's benefits and yours... =).. cheers!

kiss on honda city's ass! shit!

something great happened to me... my iswara finally got the urge to kiss a honda city's ass.. well actually the cause was because my brakes were malfuctioning all of a sudden due to a little crack on the brake pad... ya i got it from some workshop in gohtong when i was on my way up to genting cause the normal brakes werent working well enough. i only used it for like 3 month and it already crack.. i tried to reclaim the brakes but the garage fat guy was so cocky and said i had only 1 week warranty.. ya bullshit see now what happen fkin fat bitch... so there goes my hard earn money... to a city's ass... well in the end i had to DIY my own bumper.. cause it had a slight dentiness in it.. it was like out of shape already.. people who know me well will know that i dont even have the money for myself to change a new set of headlights and bumper.. i just kept using the same one over and over again by fixing it up myself... haih.. poor man i am... well i'll share a few picture that i have takenthis is how the car look like after kissing a city's assthe side came off
this part is where the v shape like metal was dented and i had to hammer it back to shapelook at the old rust... haih my car is really ageing fast...the secret tools to put back ur bumper into shape.. haha!
this is how i tied my bumper back onto the chassisthis is the brake padthis is the cause of it... look the size of that crack... anytime la sure gone one...
well this is how my car looked like after the job was done... still looking good! =)

when it is not possible then it's not... plz...

sometimes i do not understand why parents always think that their children will know everything and are suppose to perform well in everything. take for instance my mum.. the basin was already leaking for months.. i asked her to call for a plumber.. she kept insisting until at last i got so fed up because the toilet floor was so sticky because of the water from the basin. making dirty patches all over. so i took my tool box wiv me and just tried my best to fix it. yes i know i am in the mechanics field not the plumber field. ya some small lil minor problem i will be able to solve but not all.. that's what my mum sees me as... a handy man who knows everythin... she thinks i am god or something.. my favourite line to her.. "what! you think i am god i know everythin?".. ya.. so in the end she came and check on it and told me oh no! dont do already the tiles already cracked, need people to cement it.. i told her.. so where can i get cement from? at last she realise it's not a small problem anymore and decided to call for a plumber.. oh thank you kun yam!
the dried water patches! so sick of itthe cause of the leakage
this is what is formed out of your spit and saliva and pimple cream etc etcand ya your hair that u washed into the basinthe cause that made my mum realise it wasnt a small deal anymore

well bad news is i tried but in the end i could not finish the job.. well the good news is i can finally make use of the exp tools in the toolbox that TOC made us buy... ==...
this is how our TOC tool box looks like...

to parents out there please when your sons are doing sometimes to do with tool boxes it does not mean that everything that is related to tools are the specialty of your sons... call for a pro to fix the thing up for you... sekian terima kasih..

great cars for sale at the moment....

if u were a student.. and your parents offered you to get a car below 50k... what should you get so that at the very least you wont b smoked by a rich brat in his SLK or 350z... let us see what can i find you.. =).. well i'll start with the most sporty choice of all for someone who does not mind having a two door coupe which only fits him or her with 1 passenger to a normal daily trustworthy ride which can carry 4 passengers. well i'll start with the Toyota MR2 coupe..
scissor door MR2

this car as you can see has it's engine placed at the middle of the car which makes it an MR(mid range engine with rear wheel drive) car. yes rear wheel drive allows you to do a lil drift action but not for this car alright. the car comes with 2.0 a turbo and pushes out 225bhp as stated by the owner.. so if you want a ferrari like car which cost much much less.. this is a car to buy! haha.. ask my friend hong jiun he has driven one.. and he did a wheel spin with it.. for more info check it out on wiki or http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/292355-mr2-turbo-for-sale.html

black bonet DC2
2nd up is the honda integra DC2 which is a FF(front mounted engine with front wheel drive). yes it seems like a normal coupe with and FF but wait... integra are quite famous for their ability to do hill climbs and are very agile for their size which makes it and ideal budget racer for youngsters.. it has 2.0L N/A vtec engine which can pushes out depending on the model of the engine if the type R which many hunts for can push out 197bhp at stock condition according to wiki.. haha.. for more information on the car plz check out this links http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/280293-for-sale-honda-integra-dc2-93-97-a.html
http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/287431-honda-integra-dc2-94-97-a.html

3rd up is the mitsubishi evolution 6 which is an AWD car meaning all wheel drive car.. it has four doors which makes it capable of fetching as many as 4 passenger.. it's actually a hot sedan car with a powerful engine.. it may be kind of old compared to it's younger brothers but it sure can run on as fast as them with the right modifications.. it pushes out 200+ turbo according to modifications.. for more information check it out here http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/299058-lancer-conv-evo-6-5-a.html
SEG engine bay

4th choice the SEG turbo... well there is too much specs that are upgraded on this car and i dont really know how to explain one by one.. but what i do know is it is a 1.6L toyota engine with a turbo and the car is a normal sedan yup... not a bad choice in my opinion.. to check it out surf here http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/292237-seg-turbo-for-sale.html

5th a hot old school proton putra.. as we can see there are many around.. this car is nearly 15years old already.. yes it is a proton but with a 4G93 mitsubishi engine it can be a blast of fun..
not only that it weight to ratio for it's 1.8L engine allows you to smoke majority of the cars on the road running.. but sadly it's hard to find a stock one nowadays.. most of them are already molested.. for more info here is the link http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/300419-proton-putra-1998-a.html
http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/299427-proton-putra-mmc-for-sale.html

red drift machineblue drift machine

5th choice one of my best favourites.. the A31 nissan cefiro... yes a 20year old car which is normally used as a drift machine in most drift events.. because of it engine bay which can fit in skyline gtr engines which are known as the RB series(except RB30).. for more info on this engines you should look it up yourself because there is plenty of ways for you to fiddle with the engine.. this car is a five seater.. and well you'll be suprise by it's price.. the car normally comes alerady with a mod skyline engine.. just depending on what model it is or with turbo or without.. is your choice... for more info here's the web you can find plenty of this cars around at zerotohundred.com

the engine bay 1.5 with open pod filter

lastly the proton iswara 1.5 4G91 which pushes out nearly 100bhp or even more... yes you may think it's just an iswara but well your wrong for it's weight to is so good that it can blow your head of with the right setting... i myself am driving a 1.3 4G13.. and i love it very much.. =).. to check it out here is the link http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/cars-for-sale/292968-iswara-1-5mt-twin-cam-2000-a.html

well the purpose of this post is actually to help my friends who are looking for a car at the very moment under their parents expenses.. you dont have to get a fancy fairlady for 2 times or even 5 times the price... just check it out you will be amazed... i hope it will help others too.. all the best in your purchase.. and big thanks to zerotohundred.com for the pictures and info... cheers.. =)
